Why is asking for help so difficult when you have vaginismus Blog
Do you want help?
• What is stopping you from asking for help? • Why do you quickly drop out of assistance?
The threshold to ask for help when you have vaginismus is high.
I think because women are scared. Afraid of not being taken seriously or really understood. Afraid of failing or being disappointed again. But above all afraid, because they know for sure that they have to do something that is impossible or very painful. They cannot imagine being able to successfully complete any exercise towards their goal. They can't imagine there is any other way.
I totally understand this. In my own way of overcoming vaginismus, I have also had many of these emotions and thoughts. Fortunately, for many women, the desire to get rid of vaginismus is greater than the fear.
It’s always very special when I hear clients beautiful reactions and results during the coaching conversations.
"How the conversations went differently than they thought beforehand." "How much information they got that they had never heard before." "The details I told that made her dare to take a step and thereby achieve success time and time again."
