When I was 19, I spoke to a counsellor, and I thought: I want to do what she does. And I did. I gained a lot of work experience within very different organizations, but always as a counsellor. Now, I also work as a counselor at a doctor's practice.
Coaching is my passion. I am so thrilled each time I see men and women become curious about trying out the things that we discussed. I am so happy whenever people tell me they have succeeded in taking another step, or when they have reached a specific goal. |
Since 1999, I have my own coaching practice. After I had overcome my own vaginismus, I met other women with this problem in the self-help group at that time. I gave them tips about things that had helped me. One of these women then asked me if I wanted to coach women myself. She really liked my approach and my practical tips, and they had helped her a lot. I started thinking about how wonderful it would be if I could use my own experience for the benefit of other women. So, in 2006, I decided to start coaching women with vaginismus and pain during sex.
